HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEMS IN KIES.(REINSTALLATION AND OTHER)

SINCE THERE ARE MANY PROBLEMS FACED BY USERS SO I DECIDED TO POST THIS  IT WILL SOLVE MOST OF THE USUALLY ASKED QUESTIONS:


1) RE-INSTALLATION ERROR (YOU CANT REINSTALL AN APPLICATION AGAIN BE IT PAID OR FREE)
SOLUTION:

  • GO TO MORE IN KIES OR MY DOWNLOADS  (WHERE YOUR DOWNLOADS ARE)
  • DELETE THE  THE APP WHICH YOU WANT TO REINSTALL.
  • GO TO VIEW PURCHASE HISTORY &DONE YOUR DOWNLOAD WOULD START.

 2) FIXING APP STORE BUG IN KIES (YOU WILL NOT SEE SAMSUNG APPS AFTER U UPDATE TO KIES )
SOLUTION:

  •  From windows command, enter regedit.
  •  Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/SAMSUNG
  •   Now double-click folder “Kies2.0″ .
  • On right-hand side of window, under Name column, look for “Region” (5th from bottom)
  • Right-click on “Region” and select “Modify”. Change the current region US to yours (or change to) UK That’s all. The new kies will work 100% with the latest samsung apps store UI.

3)OTHER PROBLEMS

  • FAULTY PACKAGE ERROR: DONT DRAG FILE AND USE IT IN APPLIST USE BROWSE OPTION.
  • THE PROCESS IS BEING USED BY ANOTHER PROGRAM:TURN OFF DEBUG MODE.(Go to setting> connectivity>usb utilities >click on debuging )AND DO NOT CONNECT IN KIES MODE.

    Hello,
    Here is my feedback about the issue N° 1 (reinstalling apps) :

    You are right, I can download the apps again but I can't install it (error message : The selected App cannot be used with the phone currently connected. You can only intall this App on one phone at a time)

    Good news for me I only have 1 wave! WTF! Fu….. Samsung kies

    I directly asked explanation to samsung, I'm still waiting.

    At present I face problem that kies show message that there is an update to samsung apps. press ok button to start.

    When I press OK it says Latest version is installed and nothing happen.

    I am not able to view any apps or even installed.

    what to do, now ?

    @anon 1:u can reinstall apps delete them first from download and then go to history and click download.(i have tried it that why i have posted but if u try with other country id u wouldnt be able to do to do that u will need to change kies country code fro that country.

    @anon 2:u must have downloaded wrong file.try re downloading or try it again using applist.

    @depti:go to samsungapps.com slect ur country from down by clicking others if ur country isnt there download apps for pc (kies )

    @anon3(amit):go to setting> connectivity>usb utilities >click on debuging

    so to turn off debugging i need to activet it?
    i am always when i am trying to install using Applist i connect my wave and select Kies mode(it's always on "ask me" mode)and still it doesn't work
    so how the hell it spose to work hu?

    @AMIT:DID U DOWNLOAD UNMODIFIED APP OR MODIFIED ONE??
    @KZXC:I NEVER USED KIES JUST CONNECT IT LIKE U DO TO TRANSFER FILES AND OPEN KIES YOUR MOBILE WILL LOAD AND DOWNLOAD APPS THATS ALL.

    when i connect it to protobale memory
    the kies won't recongnize it it saying "the device is not supported please connect by kies mode (studioPC)"

    @kzxc:den i dont know coz i dont have wave 1 .i have wave 2
    @amit:i have mooded i dont have unmodifed.
    @viv:go to samsungapps.com and go to ur country by selcting it from down then go to samsung apps on ur p cad click download kies.

    @GURPREET well im still facing problem ..samsung apps waiting for update …the solution u gave to chnge region to UK n all ..worked previously…but nw im gettin tht samsung app update prob in chnged UK region itself :( :( ..help me …nt able to install single app nw :(

    I tried to tether my samsung monte with samsung kies 1.5 But it shows error “It is used by another widget. Please try Again.”
    How can I solve this problem???

    I have recently bought samsung wave y gt s5380k phone…i installed samsung kies 2.0 for connecting it to pc….but when i connect my device to pc via datacable….a message comes in the dialog box as>>>”this version is not suitable for ur devie”….frns plzzz help me to solve this prblm….plzzz plzz plzzz reply i u know the solution!!:-(:-(:-(
