Samsung has recently announced that they are going to add VoIP feature to their ChatOn client for free.Yes the service would be free and it would be available on every platform including bada for free. This app is mainly intended to go head to head against Skype, Facetime and Whatsapp.

Chaton is trying to incorporate the features of messaging like whatsapp and VoIP like Skype and both these features is a deadly combination.Samsung is currently developing this app for Android Operating system after that they will head towards other mobile operating systems like bada. So atlast we are getting a VoIP app from Samsung which was least expected.

I imagine this coming out for Android and IOS first, before it will ever come to Bada. Just like when they released Chaton. And when they finally released it for us, it needed Bada 2.0 to work. That added another couple of months of waiting. So by the time this update arrives, most of us have already bought an android phone ;-)
