Viber Bada for Wave (GT-S8500)

I have successfully installed Viber Bada in my Samsung Wave (GT-S8500) without any modification is done. I just downloaded Viber Bada via KIES which selected Samsung Wave 3 category.

After completed downloaded, I am able to find Viber Bada in my Samsung Wave (GT-S8500) from SamsungApps/MyPage/Downloads/ViberBada. Once I have found Viber Bada from the above, I just click “get” and it will automatic downloading and installing in my Wave (GT-S8500. I can send text, photo messages and share locations with other Viber users, anytime, anywhere for free of charge.

However, it is not available for free call feature at this moment. But, I am enjoying use Viber Bada while waiting for free call feature. You may try it out. Thanks !

    plz help i install kies on my computer and i can’t find samsung apps in it , i try it over and over and the same problem why .

      in search write “regedit”
      enter and then go to user then software then kies 2.0 and find region
      right click modify
      instead of US type your country code like if india type IN

      After successful installed in my Wave (S8500) as previously informed, I am currently enjoying to use Viber Bada. If the free call feature of Viber Bada is available, it will be more excellent and i strongly believe that all the Bada user (especially me) will be fully supported Viber Bada with free call feature.

        We are looking into the option of adding Viber’s calling services to Viber for Bada, but unfortunately we still don’t have any official time frames or release dates.

        Once we have news, we’ll inform our fans through our Facebook page :)

      hey guys ive did what uve told me: disconnected my samsung wave 1 [s8500], then ipicked samsung wave 3 from the categorey from samsung kies then idownloaded it/ after that i plugged in my phone again iddid what u said to until ifound the viber im trying to click download but icant it says :ucant run apps that are not supported by the phone currently connected so what do ineed to do……

    I have successfully installed Viber Bada in my Samsung Wave (GT-S8500) without any modification is done. But i have facing problem to operate it .It is not proper work , nor are they able to find any contact, because of which already have been using Viber it has also been unable to find. plz tell me the salutation.

      Once the Viber Bada is running it, you have to wait a while for loading/synchronizing the contact data in your phone (depending on the speed of your internet access). After complete loaded/synchronized the contact data in your phone. It will appear the name listing of Viber users which have been currently using Viber.

      Please read carefully the steps that it has been taken as per the above comments. It is 100% working condition.

      Step 1 : Download Viber Bada via Kies which selected Samsung Wave 3 category (without connected your phone to computer);
      Step 2 : After complete downloaded, you are able to find Viber Bada in your wave (S8500) from Menu/SamsungApps/MyPage/ViberBada;
      Step 3 : Once you could see the above Viber Bada, please click “get” and it will be downloading and installing Viber Bada. After complete installed, you can use Viber Bada. Thanks !

      Step 2 : It should be from “Menu/SamsungApps/MyPage/Downloads/ViberBada” (extract from your phone system and not extract from Kies).

    @faisal,

    Note that some mobile operators across the world block Viber on their 3G network. Usually this happens when users have a “simple” data plan (or a prepaid contract), meaning they didn’t pay extra for using VoIP on their 3G network.

    In order to verify this, we recommend to:
    1. Test Viber on a few different WiFi networks, and see that it works fine.
    2. Contact your cell company and confirm this with them.

    as mentioned above i just downloaded viber by selecting wave 3 in kies.. but unable to find it in my downloads on my device … help me out regarding this

    I have checked the above, unfortunately, Samsung has removed the Viber Bada in downloads (in Wave S8500 and Wave 2 S8530) since 25 November, 2012 after posted the above method.

    I strongly believe that the R&D Viber Team members will officially make available for Wave 1 (S8500) and Wave 2 (S8530) very soon as Viber Bada is workable in Wave (S8500) and Wave 2 (S8530) as per the above comments. I am personally using Viber Bada in Wave (S8500) and it is 100% working condition.

    I have installed on my s8500 succesfully .. Can send messages but when the other person tries to reply they get a pop-up saying that ‘this contact no longer has Viber installed…’! All the contacts who try to send me message received same popup ,plz help me out regarding this

        when i open viber mobile’s getting hanged in 8500. uninstalled and tried it even though same problem. tried it by restarting many times but the same problem continues . Do help me out

    Samsung did not upgrade their store in Greece.S8600 is not appearing in the listed models!!!
    Every time i try to get it from another country’s store and i log in with my account it says not available in your country!!!

    Can u tell me how u get viber in Samsung Wave (GT-S8500), i download Kies in my PC, then I Download Viber Bada via Kies with selected Samsung Wave 3 category (without connected my phone to computer); After completet download, Im not able to find Viber Bada in my wave (S8500) in SamsungApps/MyPage/Downloads
    Pls help me!!!

    I tried to install the Viber on wave-1 device with BADA -2 and Wave-3 app and was successful, However I am not able to setup after Phone Number Verification…. (& clicking on Approve) as it pops to “make sure that the internet connection is enabled and connected even though the phone is connected to internet and working via browser. I am from India and on Airtel network. I also confirmed that the service provider allows Viber.

    Right downloaded in kies using wave 3, go in samsung apps, etc but not in my page (blank)

    what do i need to do to get it into my page on my wave 1
